Are we talking about bribes? Maybe a trip to this KTV.... haha!

The Road Not Taken
Robert FrostTwo roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
I love watching this video. It features Rex Navarrete, a known Filipino stand up comedian. He already performed in Manila before but I haven't got the chance to watch any. I get to know him for "SBC Packers" way back during my college days and I find this very funny so enjoy watching.
What question do you wish you'd never asked.

"Do you love me?" and the answer I ended up with is "I don't know, maybe yes maybe not..."
What soon-to-be-published book are you excited to read?
This time I'll try reading fantasy-themed books and this particular book will be released sometime around September in our local bookstores. This is book three of the Inheritance so might as well finish the two other books which are Eragon and Eldest.
Last Sunday one of my college buddies invited me to watch a Japanese film in Shangri-la Mall. The film was part of Eiga Sai '08 in line with the celebration of Philippines - Japan Friendship Month (July) and one of the good part is watching those films are for free. It was the last day of screening in Shangri-la Mall and we were able watch Linda Linda Linda. The film is interesting since there are a lot of scenarios where fellow musicians can relate to and not to mention cute Japanese girls in high school uniforms. I had fun and can't stop singing "Linda Linda Linda" even though I have no idea what the rest of the lyrics is.... Haha...

What was the best thing about your weekend?
I get to finish my tasks for the week so I was able to have enough sleep in which I rarely get during ordinary weekdays. In addition to that, I get to see first hand what hair rebonding is since I tagged along with Gig to see it. I was able to meet an old buddy who is about to leave to Singapore for good. I get to watch a Japanese film for free which was my very first experience watching a foreign film with a foreign language other than English in the big screen. Too bad my asthma attacked once again the first day of work for the week.
If you could leave notes for the future, what message would you have left in the past for today?

These are what I'd like to include and were taken from Randy Pausch's last lecture: Really Achieving Your Goals
Respect authority while questioning it
Decide if you're Tigger or Eeyore
Loyalty is a two-way street
You can't get there alone
Believe in karma
Tell the truth
Be earnest
Apologize when you screw up
Focus on others, not on yourself
Don't bail; the best gold is at the bottom of barrels of crap
Get a feedback loop; and listen to it
Show gratitude
Don't complain; just work harder
Be good at something: it makes you valuable
Find the best in everybody: no matter how you have to wait for them to show it
Be prepared: "luck" is where preparation meets opportunity
Have you ever broken a bone? If not, what's the worst injury you've sustained?
No broken bones yet however, one of the worst injury that I had is that I have experienced a 3rd degree burn in my left leg. How I acquired it? I accidentally leaned my left leg in my motorcycle's exhaust pipe in an attempt to put it in an upward position and avoid spilling gas when it turned on its side. At first it didn't hurt or I might say my left leg went numb. The outer skin was totally peeled off and all i can see in the burn area is just white skin. The wound lasted for a couple of months and after that I realized why its important that motorcyclists must wear pants (preferably jeans) and shoes (leather ones) for protection. Lesson learned in a hard way.
Happy Father's Day to all!
